Paris gate at Saint Denis : 

a place to seize

(with Marion ROUSSELET and Maelle RIBREAU)

 

Our first line of work was to reorganize the traffic network. Then, we set up a plan of urban network’s restructuration and densification. With new local community facilities we offset the international influence of the Stade de Fance. Finally a nautical base could help the population to get back to the canal. 

 

Those transformations are organized on a 15 years planning.

Personal part

 

Part of the population stays away from the canal. To make this place easy to reach and safe, I have imagined an educational project about water. 

 

 

The architecture of the place is based on the connection between the pond and the city. The street front is monumental, whilst the access to the water is gradual, at human scale.
