A new center to create :

(with Antoine DEFINS and Anna KULIN)

 

We decided to make the public roads and urban networks denser. Porous spaces help absorbing rainwater. The obsolete highway viaduct is turned into hanging gardens. Down the garden is a boulevard with shops on street level, where soft mobility and the tramway line set up.

A public cross-functional house links the hanging garden to the boulevard. The project brings a new public facility in the district, and the public houses's square improves the space under the viaduct. 

 

The building has multiple and connected functions: childcare center, young and senior clubs, multimedia library, local center, exhibition space…
